Dr. Angela Taylor is the founder of myDetoxHealth. She is a Chiropractor, Functional Medicine Practitioner, and has her CCSP certification (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician). In addition to athletes of all ages and abilities, Dr. Taylor treats infants, toddlers, children, adults, pregnant women, and the elderly. She uses many different adjusting techniques and soft tissue techniques to tailor the perfect adjustment for each individual. She most recently completed a master class in Chiropractic Cranial Adjusting.
Dr. Taylor is certified in nutritional therapy as a FirstLine Therapy Healthcare Provider through Metagenics and has many hours of post-graduate training in Personalized Nutrition and Functional Medicine. This allows Dr. Taylor to work on many aspects of functional medicine and nutrition with her patients and design a custom and personalized plan for each individual. Dr. Angela is a 2006 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic where she was president of the Student American Chiropractic Association and was awarded the 2006 Health Center Achievement Award. Dr. Taylor received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame, where she was a Notre Dame Scholar, and continues to be a huge Irish Football fan. Dr. Angela is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Association, Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research, the Notre Dame Club of Pensacola, and an active alumnus of both the University of Notre Dame Alumni Association and the Logan Alumni Association. Dr. Angela is an avid runner, and has completed several half-marathons. She enjoys cooking and gardening, and spending time on Pensacola beach with her family. Born in Minnesota, she knew the cold wasn't for her, and after living in New Jersey for 9 years has embraced beach life here in the wonderful community of Pace and Pensacola. She and her husband, Roy, a 23-year Veteran of the Marines, live in Pace with their daughter, Sophie, who often is Dr. Angela's little office "assistant." |
